"Mark Logan MP delivers the Contemporary China Studies Keynote Lecture on UK-China relations"

Mark Logan MP, elected in 2019 for Bolton North East, delivered the Contemporary China Studies Keynote Lecture on UK-China relations to an audience of faculty members and students at the University of Oxford China Centre on 12th May 2022. Mark, an alumnus of the MSc in Contemporary Chinese Studies from 2016-17, examined the role of MPs in the making of foreign policy and outlined how key priorities and issue areas on UK-China engagement are framed, debated and taken forward in the House of Commons. The lecture was followed by a lively question and answer session covering a broad range of topics.
