The Forum on Health, Environment and Development holds its 9th Annual Meeting in Beijing

The Forum on Health, Environment and Development, of which SIAS research fellow Jennifer Holdaway is Co-Director, held its 9th Annual Meeting in Beijing on November 10-11. The meeting brought together researchers, government officials and representatives from media and civil society to discuss the evolution of problems and policy relating to environment and health in China in light of recent changes in the economic and political context. The first day considered issues relating to the rural environment, agriculture and food safety, and the second day focused on air pollution.  More details can be found on the FORHEAD website at www.forhead.org.
